A small desk for careful packet reading

Origin

The practice grew out of years spent sitting on community grant panels and scholarship shortlists in Kyushu — watching otherwise strong packets fail on missing annexes, mismatched budgets, or statements that contradicted the CV. Applicants asked, quietly, whether someone would read their drafts the way a panel does. That request became the desk.

How we work

We take a limited number of packets each month so each dossier receives a full pass against its own call text. Correspondence is direct; you speak with the person who marked your pages. We decline work that requires licensed legal or immigration representation, and we refuse rush jobs that leave no time for an honest reading.
